It is my great honour and privilege to lead our local conservative organization, and I welcome you to join with us in making your vote count.
Our board meets once per month, and is made up of 20-30 people just like you, who care about our community and want to make a difference. We are looking for volunteers with a variety of talents and interests, and I urge you to take the step of contacting us to see if getting involved is something for you.
As you know, our federal government is currently run very ably by a Conservative minority under the skilled and experience leadership of Prime Minister Stephen Harper. The minority in Parliament means that the possibility of a federal election is never very far away.
This means that there is some urgency in my appeal to you. We need you!
